We believe strongly in the safety, effectiveness and importance of these vaccines. If you don't want to protect your child from these deadly diseases, we ask you to seek medical care elsewhere. With the exception of some influenza vaccine, none of the vaccines administered at ABC Family Pediatricians to protect preschool children contains thimerosal as a preservative. Certain influenza and tetanus-diptheria (Td) vaccines given to children age 7 and older contain very small amounts of thimerosal as a preservative.
